Man docked for having anal sex with teenagers

25-year old Auwalu Yusuf is currently facing prosecution for allegedly having anal sex with four teenagers, after luring them with a bicycle and money.

Yusuf, who resides at Madobbal village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, was said to have committed the offence early this month.

According to reports, the victims reported him to their elder brother last week and this eventually led to his arrest.

Yusuf appeared before a Katsina senior magistrate’s court on Thursday where he was charged with “unnatural offence.”

Police prosecutor, Insp. Muhammed Kabir according to Punch Metro, told the court the offence was contrary to Section 284 of the penal code law, adding that investigation into the allegation was still in progress.

The police First Information Report marked KT/39X/17, which was read in the court, revealed how the accused allegedly committed the offence.

The FIR read in part, “The following juveniles(1)Mohammed Shehu(14 years); (2)Usman Mohammed(12 years); (3)Umar Sagir(12 years); (4)Kabir Lawal(12 years), all males of Daudutse Quarters, Kankara local government area, jointly informed their senior brother, one Gaddafi Kabir(18years) of the same address that sometime in December 2016 and January 1, 2017, one Auwalu Yusuf, aged 25 years of Madobbal village in Kankara Local Government Area criminally deceived them with his bicycle and money by taking them to Pole Wire side at the above mentioned address and individually had carnal knowledge of them, through their anus.

“Upon the receipt of the information by Gaddafi, he informed the following vigilantes: Sani Ahmed(22 years); and Muma Lawal(28 years), both of Dandutse quarters, Kankara, who jointly apprehended Auwal Yusuf and handed him over to the police at Kankara police station.

“Upon interrogation, the said Auwal Yusuf confessed to the commission of the offence, contrary to section 284 of the penal code law.”

The FIR was read to the accused in the court in Hausa language which he said he understood.

The presiding Magistrate, Hajiya Fadile Dikko, told him his case was only before her for “cognisance’, pointing out that it was only the high court that could try the kind of offence he had allegedly committed.

The Magistrate said, “This court will not take the plea of the accused person as the allegation of unnatural offence is only triable by the high court. The case file will be forwarded to Ministry of Justice for legal advice.

Court grants Fani-Kayode N50m bail
