LASU promotes 17 lecturers

The Governing Council of the Lagos State University (LASU) has approved the promotion of 17 lecturers in the institution as recommended by the Appointments and Promotions Academic Committee.

The official bulletin of the university on Thursday in Lagos said the approval was given by the appointments and promotions committee.

‎The bulletin said that a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Patrick Adebuyi, was promoted from senior lecturer to associate professor.

‎It said that seven other lecturers were promoted from lecturer two to lecturer one, while nine lecturers were promoted from assistant lecturer to lecturer two.‎

The bulletin stated that only three months promotion arrears would be paid to the promoted lecturers the promotion.
