An Okitipupa Magistrates’ Court in Ondo State on Tuesday granted bail in the sum of N30,000 each to two men, who were allegedly wandering around residential houses.
Magistrate Banji Ayeomoni also ordered each of the defendants to provide a surety who must have evidence of one year tax payment.
Femi Menukuro, 23, and Ileri Ibiyemi, 20, both of whom do not have a fixed address and occupation, were charged on two counts.
The prosecutor, Insp. Zedekiah Orogbemi, had told the court that the defendants were wandering on Araromi Street, with the intention to commit felony on Oct. 29 .
Orogbemi said that the offences were punishable under Sections 516 and 250 (6) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ondo State, 2006.
