PMAN FCT To Hold Music Night Out Today

In an effort to reorganise and reposition the music industry in the FCT, the Abuja Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria, PMAN has concluded plans to hold a music night out for residents and fun seekers today at Tonga Bar, inside MATABELA GARDEN. Wuse ll.

According to the PMAN Governor, Solomon Nda-Isaiah he said this is what Abuja musicians have been yearning for, to have a platform to showcase their talents. ‘It’s the right step in the right direction. This is what Abuja musicians have been yearning for to always have musicians come together as one united body to showcase their talents.  This is the debut edition and it’s going to be a continuous night of of great performance from talented FCT musicians. It’s going to stand as an ongoing event while we plan and have other big event which we have lined up already that would come up on later date within the Year.” He said.

He also encourage all Abuja musicians to come out enmass to perform and showcase their numerous talent using to the opportunity ‘to assure musicians that my administration as the governor of PMAN FCT Chapter will rejuvenise our great union, see to the welfare of all musicians and unite the house. There is going to be a great change and transformation,  better days are coming, ‘ he promised.

Similarly, the host, Mr Biyi promise a classic event that would showcase abuja musician talents . ‘ what we expect is total entertainment. We want our guests to be held spell bound on the night,’ he said.

Pope not involved in Colombian peace deal- Vatican

Pope Francis Pope Francis has turned down a request to play a role in the peace deal between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebel group. The Vatican in a statement issued on Wednesday in in Vatican City said that an invitation was sent to his Holiness in early August to appoint a representative to participate in the committee that selected the judges for the talks.
