Kwara APC suspends party chieftain

The Kwara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the party’s Chairman in Ilorin West Local Government Area, Alhaji Suleiman Balah.

The party’s Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Buhari, made this public in a statement on Saturday in Ilorin.

He said the suspension became inevitable owing to Balah’s deliberate insubordination and wilful sabotage of lawful party directive.

The suspension order, he said, takes immediate effect.

He said the next ranking officer of the party had been directed to take over the leadership of the party in the local government.

Buhari urged members of the APC in the state to be steadfast and rededicate themselves to the party’s good ideals and leadership.
