Buhari felicitates with Muiz Banire at 50

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with the National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Muiz Banize, on his 50th birthday.

Mr Femi Adesina, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, said in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday.

Buhari joined all members and leaders of the APC in congratulating Banire as he clocks 5o on Oct. 6.

The president also felicitated with family, friends and professional colleagues of the legal luminary and author.

He noted that Banire had over the years selflessly inspired younger people in the law profession, and contributed immensely to intellectual and scholarly discussions and journals.

Buhari commended “the loyalty and commitment of the party member in ensuring that the teething challenges faced by the ruling party get the right counselling, proper legal interpretations and directions.”

According to him, Banire’s penchant for learning through questioning, commitment to research and development, and willingness to serve the country in various responsibilities is most worthy of emulation.

He prayed that the Almighty God would grant “the astute leader more years and good health to serve the country.’’
