Toyin made the disclosure when she testified in her divorce proceeding where she begged the court to dissolve her eight -year-old marriage to her husband, Kayode, for alleged desertion for a year.
She told the court that she had stopped having sexual intercourse with her husband because of his waywardness.
The petitioner said “the irresponsible nature of her husband’ made the respondent to abandon his matrimonial home without showing kindness to his family.
Kayode denied all the allegations and said that he left his family because of his wife’s persistent promiscuity.
“I have caught my wife twice sitting on the lap of another man,” Kayode said.
Ruling on the case, the President of the court, Chief Rotimi Olusanya, urged the two parties to maintain peace.
Olusanya said that they should make themselves available to their families for amicable settlement of their rift.
He ordered the defendant to take care of the two children of the family and adjourned the case till Sept. 26.
