A total of 2,535 pilgrims from Kaduna State have arrived home after performing the 2016 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
Abdullahi Bayero, Chairman, Media Sub-committee of the state Hajj Delegation, said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makkah on Friday.
Bayero said 405 pilgrims and another set of 402 were transported back to Kaduna on Thursday, while 463 others were conveyed home in the early hours of this Friday.
NAN reports that the third batch of pilgrims arrived in Kaduna on Wednesday via Max Airline with 474 pilgrims.
The first batch of 491 pilgrims and second batch of 300 were transported back to Kaduna on Sunday and Monday respectively.
According to Bayero, a total of 5, 575 pilgrims from Kaduna State performed the 2016 Hajj.
The chairman advised the remaining pilgrims to cooperate with the airline officials to ensure their successful return home.
